Job Title
Digital Designer Digital+
Job Description
We’re looking for a Digital Designer to shape intuitive, joyful, and trusted experiences across Pregnancy+.
You’ll design for millions of mums and mums-to-be, helping us expand beyond pregnancy into the postpartum journey while elevating the quality of our core experience.
You’ll join a product-led team where user needs guide everything we do, from what we build to how we work.
You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content specialists to bring ideas to life and make them feel seamless in the hands of our users.
You’ll also work hand-in-hand with our campaign and partnership success team to ensure our designs and assets meet client needs and support their goals, helping our advertising partners reach and engage the Pregnancy+ audience effectively.
This role reports directly to the Product Leader for Pregnancy+.
What You’ll Do
1. Translate insights into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
2. Design for both pregnancy and postpartum journeys, evolving how we support parents over time.
3. Ensure every interaction feels intuitive, inclusive, and visually polished.
4. Partner with engineers to bring designs to life with precision and care.
5. Work closely with our campaign and partnership success team to create, edit, and refine advertising and marketing assets that deliver value for clients and resonate with users.
6. Support cross-functional teams with clear design documentation, visual assets, and implementation guidance.
7. Communicate design choices clearly, building alignment and trust across teams.
8. Help evolve and maintain our design system in Figma, balancing consistency with creative flexibility.
9. Identify opportunities to optimise, automate, and enhance our design processes through improved tooling, creative automation, and workflow innovation to create more space for solving deep user problems.
10. Contribute to discovery and validation by running usability tests, experiments, and design reviews.
11. Apply research, behavioural data, and feedback to inform design decisions.
12. Advocate for accessible, inclusive, and empathetic design at every stage.
13. Push the craft forward by sharing knowledge, collaborating with peers, and helping to improve our design processes.
What We’re Looking For
14. Proven experience designing digital products, ideally consumer-facing mobile apps.
15. A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, from research and wireframes to shipped features.
16. Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems, prototyping, and mobile-first design for iOS and Android.
17. Experience collaborating with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders to balance design intent with practical delivery.
18. Solid grasp of user-centred design principles, usability testing, and data-informed iteration.
19. Strong visual design sensibility and a high bar for craft, detail, and polish.
20. Experience or enthusiasm for marketing and advertising asset creation that drives engagement and effectiveness.
21. Curiosity and initiative, you actively look for ways to improve tools, workflows, and creative processes.
22. Open-mindedness and collaboration, confident in your instincts but always eager to learn from feedback and evidence.
