This is an exciting opportunity for a Midwife to work within the Tair Sir/Three Counties Community Team that would include Crymych, Cardigan, Newcastle Emlyn, Llandysul, Llanybydder and Lampeter areas, providing all aspects of midwifery care for women and their families in the community setting of rural Wales.
The role includes an opportunity to develop skills in practicing outside of guidance. The team is supportive and encouraging of each other, enabling members to develop and progress within their roles. Travel between rural sites with limited or no public transport is required.
You will be key in providing and increasing Midwifery Led Care and promoting home births, supporting the Midwifery Led Care Unit at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen. You will also be the coordinator of care for high-risk pregnancies, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a high-quality seamless service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
