Teaching Assistant
Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Sunderland to assist them to find a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support them with an immediate start.
The role will be starting immediately, on an ongoing basis, and will involve you working full days (08.30 - 3.30) Monday to Friday.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
Working within Key Stage 2 of the school to offer general support, some small group work and one to one work
Recording evidence of children meeting targets
Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed
Teaching AssistantRequirements
Experience of working with children
Resilience and ability to deal with challenging behaviour
Ability to provide 2 x educational based references
Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge
Good behaviour management
