Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fire & Security Engineer (multi‑skilled or fire‑biased with a desire to become multi‑skilled). This Fire & Security Engineer role involves the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of fire detection and security systems, will be part of a supportive team covering Reading and the surrounding areas, with full training and ongoing development provided to expand your skills across both fire and security disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
* Service and maintain fire alarm, AOV, Disabled Refuge, CCTV, access control, intruder alarm systems and extinguishers & Fire Blankets as a Fire & Security Engineer.
* Carry out fault finding and repairs across multiple systems.
* Work both independently and as part of a team.
* Participate in an on‑call rota (overtime available).
* Deliver a high standard of customer service.
* Complete documentation accurately using provided systems.

Requirements
* Experience working with fire and/or security systems (fire‑biased engineers encouraged to apply).

* Full UK driving licence.
