* We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Manager to join our Families First Children’s Service on a short-term basis to support the ongoing implementation of our new Front Door model. This is a pivotal role in ensuring that children and families receive the right support at the right time, through a collaborative and child-centred approach.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
* Provide operational leadership and management to a team of social workers and support staff.
* Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Front Door service, ensuring timely and effective responses to referrals and safeguarding concerns.
* Support the implementation and embedding of the new Front Door model, driving continuous improvement and best practice.
* Ensure that all decisions are informed by a clear understanding of the needs and views of children and families.
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies to gather and share information that supports effective decision-making.
* Participate in the management rota (Monday to Friday, 8am–8pm) and provide on-call support as required.
* Contribute to the development of a learning culture through supervision, coaching, and reflective practice.
Essential Experience Required .
* Leadership in Children’s Social Care
* Safeguarding and Risk Assessment
* Front Door/Referral Services
Essential Qualifications Required
* (HCC) Registered with Social Work England
