This is a fantastic opportunity to join CCIS as a Class 1 Driver, based out of Tilbury.
Overview
Location: Tilbury, GB | Role: Class 1 Driver | Hours: 50 hours per week, Day shift with trampping opportunities
Your Role | Main Responsibilities
* Class 1 Driver
* On occasions, helping to load and unload goods.
* Ensuring loads are safely secured.
* Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary.
* Complete daily vehicle checks (oil, tyres and brakes).
* Adhere to Drivers hours rules and regulations at all times while maintaining clear and effective communications with the Transport office to allow for efficient route planning.
* You could spend a lot of time away from home, including overnight stays where necessary.
* Most of your time would be spent on the road and you would drive day and night, in all weather conditions.
Qualifications Required
* Class 1 license
* CPC
* ADR, desirable but not essential
Key Relationships
* Site and Logistics General Manager
* Land Operations Manager
* Transport Planning teams
Health & Safety
* Responsibility for ensuring that local Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed in order to ensure own safety and the safety of others
