To support the smooth and efficient operation of the Road Transport department, ensuring timely and cost-effective management of GB/EU road freight services, including import, export, cross-trade, domestic, and courier shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of GB/EU road bookings including imports, exports, cross-trade, domestic and courier shipments from start to finish
* Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring all client-specific requirements are met
* Liaise daily with hauliers, overseas agents, and suppliers
* Maintain close communication with internal teams such as Sales
* Prepare and issue transport documents including collection/delivery notes, packing lists, and insurance documentation when required
* Provide quotations for clients based on service requirements
* Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
* Handle customer queries, claims, and general freight-related enquiries
* Accurately input data and upload Proof of Delivery documents
* Obtain and manage appropriate documentation to support customs clearance and ensure timely channel crossings
