We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Regional Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering expert financial support across our schools.
Your opportunity
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Finance Manager. The role will be supporting schools in Didcot and Reading, so the candidate will need to be able to travel to both locations.
Responsibilities
As a Finance Manager, you will work as part of the finance team, led by the Finance Partner, to deliver an expert service to our schools, including:
* Managing the delivery of the monthly management reports
* Overseeing transactional processing within the academies
* Preparing and monitoring budgets
* Liaising with school-based colleagues as required
Qualifications
* AAT qualified and beyond or QBE with relevant experience
* Experience of producing financial accounts using financial systems
* Experience working within the education or charity sector
* Experience working within a Finance Department
* Experience producing regular forecasts

Salary and working terms
* Salary: Senior Specialist £34,429 FTE
* Pro‑rate salary: £32,656.92
* Hours: 36 hours a week, 43 weeks a year (term time plus 4 weeks)
* Location: Base at Aureus School, Didcot (hybrid working)
* Start date: ASAP
