Position Overview
As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the controller to maximize the operational availability of equipment for our customers. Your role will involve:
* Conducting timely and efficient routine and preventative maintenance servicing
* Performing machine inspections to identify potential issues
* Carrying out minor repairs as needed
* Being an ambassador for safety, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and our customers

Your Key Responsibilities
* Preventative Maintenance Servicing: Carry out routine servicing of equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines (75%)
* Machine Inspection: Conduct visual and mechanical analysis of machine conditions, highlighting developing issues (20%)
* Minor Repairs: Complete minor repairs identified during inspections and install telematic systems (5%)
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A basic knowledge of key product elements: Engines, Hydraulics, Powertrain, and Vehicle Electrics/Electronics
* Experience in a related engineering function (around 3 years) or a formal apprenticeship qualification (C&G level 1)
* A full driving license held for at least 2 years (subject to DVLA check)
Working Conditions
This is a field-based role with a working pattern of Monday to Friday, including 1 Saturday in 3 at an overtime rate. You’ll enjoy:
* 43 hours per week with flexible start and finish times
* A supportive team environment with over 40 Mental Health first aiders
