Senior Healthcare Assistant (Day)
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant (SHCA) to join our team. As an SHCA, you will lead your team of Healthcare Assistants, ensuring all members provide person-centred care to residents, respecting their dignity and privacy at all times.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring residents' rights to independence and choice are upheld
2. Keeping accurate care and medical records
3. Fostering a positive work environment
4. Supporting your care team through supervision and appraisals
5. Liaising with health professionals and relatives to deliver optimal care
6. Maintaining a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors according to safety standards

For this role, it is essential that you:
1. Have relevant medication administration experience
2. Have relevant care home experience
You will receive a higher rate of pay if you hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
