This is an exciting opportunity to deliver functional skills teaching to upper primary and lower secondary students, supporting their academic progress and personal development. About the Role: Deliver high-quality teaching of Functional Skills (English, Maths, and Life Skills). Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development in a structured and nurturing environment. Plan, differentiate, and implement lessons tailored to the needs of individual learners. Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals to provide consistent and effective support. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. About the Setting: The provision provides targeted support for upper primary and lower secondary pupils in a safe and structured environment. Staff work collaboratively to deliver personalised learning that helps pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Essential: Experience teaching Functional Skills. Experience with upper primary / lower secondary students. Ability to differentiate teaching for a range of abilities and learning needs.
