As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes services. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support individuals in following their personalised care plans to meet their specific needs.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the care environment.
Skills
* Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Experience in a care home setting or providing home care is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with colleagues.
