Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in a Data Engineering role Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark (PySpark) Experience designing data models and implementing reliable pipeline patterns Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow Experience with low-code or no-code integration tools Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including services for storage, transformation, and warehousing Experience interacting with APIs and cloud services programmatically Experience building and maintaining cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks) Familiarity with Git-based source control Experience working in an Agile delivery environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences Desirable experience includes cloud certifications, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), dbt, or Databricks. Responsibilities: Designing and developing scalable data pipelines and data models Building and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure Implementing data quality, validation, and monitoring processes Troubleshooting and optimising existing pipelines and datasets Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Supporting continuous improvement through automation and best engineering practices Participating in Agile delivery processes, including code reviews and sprint ceremonies Exploring emerging technologies and contributing to proof-of-concept initiatives.
