Recruitment Consultant – Civils (Construction Sector Fully Remote)

💰 Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 + Uncapped Commission

The Opportunity
We are working with a high-growth recruitment business looking to hire an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their established team and develop their Civils / Construction offering.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruiter who understands the civil engineering or construction market and wants to build out a specialist desk within an already successful client base
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will:
1. Manage a 360 recruitment desk focused on civils within the construction sector
2. Work with an existing portfolio of active clients already engaged with the business
3. Identify and develop civils-specific opportunities within these accounts
4. Build strong relationships with:
5. Main contractors
6. Subcontractors
7. Engineering consultancies
8. Recruit for roles such as:
9. Site Engineers / Setting Out Engineers
10. Project Managers
11. Quantity Surveyors
12. Foremen / Site Managers
13. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including:
14. Job brief qualification
15. Candidate sourcing
16. Interview coordination
17. Offer management and placement
18. Attend and conduct client meetings (virtual and face-to-face) to strengthen partnerships
What We’re Looking For
19. Proven experience in recruitment (ideally 2+ years)
20. Experience recruiting within construction or civil engineering (preferred)
21. Strong business development and account management skills
22. Ability to identify and grow opportunities within existing client relationships
23. Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
24. Willingness to travel to meet clients when required
25. Driven, proactive, and commercially focused
