CNC MachinistCNC Setter Operator MillerBase salary:£38,000 - 40,000 Shift AllowanceShift allowance: 16.6% Monday to Friday Earlies and LatesAlternate 2 week shift pattern 6am2pm / 2pm10pm - 39 HoursLocation: BirminghamWe are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator / Miller to join a fast-paced precision engineering environment. Youll set and run CNC machines to produce high-quality components to strict tolerances.CNC Setter/ Operator Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC Milling machines efficientlyThe CNC Setter/ Operator will read engineering drawings anduse Fanuc ControlsInspect parts using measuring equipment (CMM, micrometres, verniers)Monitor machine performance and report faultsSupport continuous improvement and quality standardsCNC Setter/ Operator RequirementsProven experience as a CNC Machinist with CNC setting/operating experience Any programming knowledge idealKnowledge of multi-axis or 5-axis machining Mazak & Matsuura PreferredThe CNC Machinist - Setter/ Operator will need to have controls experience with FANUC (preferred) or MazatrolStrong understanding of engineering drawingsAbility to work independently and maintain high quality standardsHigh Variety Low Volume experience preferredINDMANTPBN1_UKTJ
