Job Overview
The Engineering Level 2 Diploma Apprenticeship is a comprehensive programme designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in engineering. This apprenticeship offers practical experience and essential skills in engineering principles and practices. Candidates will work 4 days onsite at Norbrook and study 1 day per week at SRC. The programme combines practical training with theoretical study for a well-rounded educational experience.
Main Tasks/Activities
* Assist engineers in designing, testing, and implementing engineering solutions.
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
* Document work activities including observations, measurements, and test results.
* Adhere to GMP standards and maintain a quality-oriented mindset.
Essential Criteria
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Strong interest in developing a career in engineering
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and strong problem-solving skills
Additional Information
This role is based in a site that produces and handles penicillin; therefore, it is not suitable for individuals with a penicillin allergy. Applicants must provide proof of right to work in the UK at the time of application. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
