Our client, a well-established firm based in Buckinghamshire, is seeking a dedicated Semi Senior to join their close-knit team on a permanent basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with prior experience in a Semi Senior position to further develop their skills within a thriving environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and conducting audits, whilst providing support to senior staff. You will need to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to your work, ensuring high-quality service to clients.
Experience in a Semi Senior role within an accounting or auditing firm
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
Good understanding of UK VAT, corporate tax, and personal tax regulations
Strong organisational and time management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Part-qualified ACA or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
