Position Overview
As a Composites Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the development and implementation of production methodologies and tooling for composite aircraft parts and assemblies. You will collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes that meet stringent quality standards.
Position Responsibilities
* Develop and implement manufacturing processes, plans, and tooling methodologies for composite aircraft parts and assemblies.
* Collaborate with IPTs to support the integration of technical solutions and ensure manufacturability of designs.
* Investigate and resolve technical problems related to composite manufacturing processes.
* Participate in the implementation of Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
* Resolve technical issues that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule.
* Conduct data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Communicate effectively with internal customers and stakeholders to align on product development and manufacturing goals.
* Perform producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capabilities meet requirements.
* Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout all manufacturing processes.
Onsite Requirement
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security & Citizenship
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. The position requires the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires US Citizenship only.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* 2+ years of related work experience with a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
* Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience with a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
* Experience supporting stabilization and improvement efforts in a manufacturing setting.
Typical Education & Experience by Level
Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, or related fields, and typically 2 or more years of related work experience or equivalent. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education in engineering, science, or related fields, and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or equivalent. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.

Salary information: Summary pay range: Level 2: $75,650 - $102,350; Level 3: $90,100 - $121,900.
