Vacancy Description
We have a unique opportunity for an Apprentice Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer where you'll earn while you learn! We will teach you how to install, service, test, and repair fire suppression systems and equipment in accordance with relevant service standards and specifications.
As an apprentice, you’ll engage in a hands-on learning experience, developing new skills while building connections with our knowledgeable staff.
What You’ll Do at Work
1. Service, test, and install the appropriate pipework and systems; disassemble and reconstruct equipment.
2. Perform servicing/testing and repairs on systems and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.
3. Install systems and equipment based on relevant fabrication drawings and specifications.
4. Accurately complete engineering work reports, handover certificates, and pressure test certificates or checklists as required.
5. Undertake other duties as assigned by your line manager.
Where You’ll Work
You will be based in the South West of the UK covering differing sites around the South West of England and South Wales.
