About The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vehicle fleet. The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management, maintenance, and compliance of all company vehicles. This role requires excellent administrative skills, a strong understanding of fleet operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
Location: Eccles, Manchester
Hours: 37.5 Hours ( Monday - Friday)
Salary: £25,000 - £25,750
Responsibilities – But Not Limited To
* Maintain accurate records of all fleet vehicles.
* Monitor vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption to optimise efficiency.
* Schedule and track routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for all vehicles.
* Liaise with service providers and internal workshops to ensure cost-effective and timely servicing.
* Monitor and report on vehicle maintenance costs and review where necessary.
* Ensure vehicle and driver compliance.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation for licenses, inspections, and workshop accreditation's.
* Manage insurance claims and accident reports when needed.
* Process invoices, purchase orders, and any reports relating to fleet operations.
Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role
* Experience: Proven experience in fleet administration or a similar role would be advantageous
* Drivers licence is required
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Focused with a commitment to service excellence.
