Full time, permanent (flexibility required for evenings and weekends)
£35,000 per annum + performance based bonus

This established events venue is set within a characterful historic building in a vibrant East London location. Featuring striking original features and a contemporary industrial style, it hosts weddings, corporate events and creative shoots for clients looking for something a little different.
The venue is part of a rapidly expanding UK-based venue group with multiple locations nationwide, offering a creative environment, ambitious growth plans and excellent development opportunities.
The Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised, proactive Event Manager to become the heartbeat of their busy London events venue. This hands-on role is central to delivering seamless events from initial enquiry through to final guest departure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client relationships from booking through to live event delivery
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers and internal teams
Coordinate suppliers, caterers, production teams and venue staff
Oversee event logistics, timelines, turnarounds and order-of-the-day planning
Be a calm, professional presence on event days, solving issues proactively
Support bar operations, guest experience and venue flow
Set up and support photographic shoots and creative clients
Maintain accurate systems, schedules and communications
Collaborate with the wider venue group to share best practice
The Ideal Candidate
Youre an organised, personable Event Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You genuinely enjoy making memorable moments happen and take pride in delivering high-quality events. About you:
Passion for events, weddings and hospitality
Confidence managing multiple clients and suppliers
A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability
Experience in venue, hospitality or event management
Strong interpersonal skills and client-facing confidence
Leadership qualities and experience motivating teams
Knowledge of bar operations, stock management and licensing (desirable, not essential)
