Our client, IT services company specialising in front to back office data integrations, is recruiting for a Product Manager to join the team. You will be shaping the strategy, defining the roadmap and delivering measurable outcomes for UK Local Authorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate Revenues & Benefits legislation into product rules and configurations
* Provide subject matter expertise across Council Tax, NDR/Business Rates, and Housing Benefit
* Work with customers and internal teams to design and improve automation solutions
* Use market, policy, and technology insight to inform product direction
* Support product vision, objectives, and roadmap development
* Lead council discovery sessions to identify issues such as manual processing, backlog, and rework
* Convert policy requirements into clear acceptance criteria for delivery
Requirements
* Knowledge of Revenues & Benefits legislation (Council Tax, NDR, Housing Benefit)
* Ability to translate legislation into product rules and requirements
* Experience working with councils or public sector organisations
* Strong stakeholder collaboration across product, technical, and commercial teams
* Experience supporting product strategy and roadmap input
* Ability to run discovery sessions and analyse service/process issues
* Skilled in turning policy and operational needs into clear acceptance criteria
This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a hybrid set up at their offices in Cirencester.
