Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recovery Coordinator (Support Worker) to adopt a person-centred approach within high, medium, or low support services, caring for vulnerable adults with enduring mental health issues and challenging behaviours. The post holder will empower residents and support them on their journey to independent living, helping to make each day fulfilling and meaningful. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, requiring shift coverage on a rota basis, including days, evenings, occasional weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
Key Requirements
* Undergraduate degree or vocational qualification in health and social care
* At least 2 years’ experience as a Support Worker within mental health services
* Good knowledge of mental health-related illnesses
* Excellent administration and organisational skills
* Experience managing caseloads of clients
* Strong computer skills and digital proficiency
* Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems and databases
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging at all levels
* Self-motivated with initiative to find solutions
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to prioritise a varied workload
* Warm, friendly, positive, and open-minded attitude
* A thirst for knowledge, striving for excellence, and a humble learning posture
* Genuine desire to make a difference and support disadvantaged individuals in leading meaningful lives
