Want flexible work that fits your schedule?Veritas Education is looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis in secondary schools across the Wakefield area. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching, recent graduates, or anyone with experience working with young people.
Role Overview:
* Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher
* Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate
* Support the wider school community as needed
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working with young people (e.g. in education, coaching, youth work, tutoring, etc.)
* Strong classroom presence and confident behaviour management
* Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to think on your feet
* A genuine interest in education and supporting students' development
* Degree or A-Levels preferred but not essential
