We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities
* Design, install, and maintain CCTV systems according to specifications.
* Conduct site surveys to assess requirements for camera placement and system configuration.
* Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation of equipment.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively in the assembly and installation of CCTV components.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Troubleshoot issues related to CCTV systems, including hardware malfunctions and connectivity problems.
* Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and system configurations.
* Stay updated on the latest technologies in CCTV systems and recommend upgrades as necessary.
Requirements
* Proven experience in CCTV installation or a related field.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build systems from the ground up.
* Proficiency in electrical work related to CCTV systems.
* Familiarity with computer hardware relevant to CCTV operations.
* Ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients and team members for project coordination.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Knowledge of system design principles is highly desirable.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
