Location: Croydon (Local Work – South London Region)\nSalary: Up to £35,000 + Benefits\nContract: Full-time, Permanent\n\nWe’re looking for an experienced Plumber with Water Hygiene experience who’s ready for a long-term role with local work, genuine development opportunities and a company that puts its people first.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to join a well-established and fast-growing compliance provider. You’ll be based in Croydon, covering a local patch across South London, with no long-distance travel and minimal overnight stays.\n\nYou’ll be joining a business that’s serious about investing in its engineers — from new vehicles and paid travel time, to structured progression and cross-skilling opportunities.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\n * \n\n Carrying out a variety of remedial plumbing works including dead leg removals, re-piping, valve replacements and TMV work\n\n * \n\n Supporting with water hygiene tasks including temperature checks and sampling\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274\n\n * \n\n Completing clear, professional reports following site visits\n\n * \n\n Working across a mix of private and public sector sites, all within a manageable local area\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in plumbing\n\n * \n\n Previous experience in water hygiene or remedial plumbing\n\n * \n\n Comfortable working independently and managing your own day\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of water safety compliance and industry best practice\n\n * \n\n A positive, proactive mindset and commitment to doing things properly\n\nWhat’s in it for you:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary up to £35,000 depending on experience\n\n * \n\n Brand new vehicle with private use and a fuel card\n\n * \n\n Paid travel time\n\n * \n\n 27 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Life insurance and access to a wide range of staff discounts\n\n * \n\n Real progression routes and opportunities to cross-train into other areas\n\n * \n\n A stable, supportive working environment where engineers are genuinely valued\n\nIf you're looking to stay local, avoid long hours on the road, and build a long-term career with a company that’s growing and investing in its team- we’d love to hear from you.\n\nClick apply or call EVA @ Golden Fox Recruitment
