As our
Legal Counsel
, you'll be at the centre of ensuring our award-winning brands grow on firm legal foundations. Working closely with the Head of Legal, you'll provide expert advice across corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and regulatory law, helping the business thrive while staying compliant in an exciting, fast-paced FMCG environment.
This is a hands-on role where you'll partner with teams across the group, from Marketing and Sales to Operations and Finance, providing practical, commercially minded legal support. Based in our London office, you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of legal matters across multiple jurisdictions, balancing precision with pragmatism to keep the business moving forward.
Your impact will include:
Trusted Advisor
– Consult and advise the business on a wide range of legal matters across multiple markets.
Contracts & Negotiation
– Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents with accuracy and commercial insight.
Risk & Compliance
– Research, anticipate, and protect the business against legal and regulatory risks, including labelling and marketing compliance.
Corporate Governance
– Support CoSec responsibilities and help maintain strong governance frameworks.
Policy & Process
– Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and legal processes that support efficiency and good governance.
Collaboration
– Partner with internal stakeholders across the business and liaise with external advisors and regulators.
Continuous Improvement
– Maintain accurate records, streamline workflows, and ensure legal processes evolve with the needs of a dynamic business.
Business Enablement
– Provide commercial legal input that helps projects, deals, and campaigns move forward with confidence.

You're a qualified solicitor with a sharp legal mind and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. You enjoy the challenge of balancing legal precision with commercial realities, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where every day brings something new. You're collaborative, approachable, and ready to make your mark as part of a small but high-impact legal team.
You will bring:
A law degree (LLB or equivalent), ideally 2.1 or above, with a strong academic record.
Qualification as a solicitor (NQ+).
Experience in a law firm and/or in-house environment, with exposure to corporate and commercial matters.
Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
A commercial mindset, balancing risk with business needs.
An interest in the alcohol industry / FMCG, with a particular enthusiasm for corporate law.
A collaborative spirit, entrepreneurial energy, and a willingness to learn and grow.
