The Role We’re looking for a passionate, experienced early years professional to take the lead on designing engaging, high-quality learning experiences for learners and apprentices from Level 2 to Level 5. This is your chance to step into a rewarding Curriculum Lead role—where your creativity, sector knowledge, and love for learning will directly impact the development of practitioners across the UK. If you’ve worked in early years, enjoy supporting teams, and are confident in putting together purposeful and inspiring learning materials—we’d love to hear from you. ​ Whilst we can’t promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be: - Design and review learning content for Early Years and Education programmes (Levels 2–5), including apprenticeships, adult skills, Skills Bootcamps, and commercial programmes. - Make sure every course meets required frameworks and standards—and speaks to the real needs of learners and employers. - Be the go-to person for curriculum questions (alongside the Product Manager) —delivering 1:1 or team training to help trainers feel confident and prepared. - Lead “curriculum walk-throughs” for new starters and support their journey from day one. - Regularly meet with the team to share updates and new ideas that keep our provision current and impactful. - Work with the Product Manager to review feedback from learners and results from End Point Assessments to guide improvements. - Keep up with trends in training methodologies, teaching approaches, digital learning and changes in the Early Years sector. ​ The Benefits - 25 days holiday plus public and bank holidays - Purchase scheme for up to 5 additional days annual leave - Birthday and Christmas Eve off - Flexible working - Health Shield scheme - Life insurance - Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay - Sick pay - Bereavement leave - Employee Assistance Programme - £1,000 Employee referral bonus scheme About You - A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, or equivalent is essential - Significant occupational competency in an Early Years setting - An assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA/A1/D32/33,CAVA) would be advantageous - A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) would be advantageous - Experience in building and managing your own caseload. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office What Happens Next? - The Realise Recruitment team will be in touch, regardless of the outcome. - Our interview process is tailored to each role and can be in-person or held remotely. - You can expect a one-stage interview process for this position, which will compromise of a one-hour formal interview, likely on Teams, where we will ask you a series of competency and behavioural questions, followed by a short microteach. - As an inclusive employer please do let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments.
