Smith & Western is looking for a motivated and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our friendly, fast-paced team. We’re an American-themed, family-friendly restaurant known for great service, lively atmosphere, and quality food and drinks.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and organising bar rotas to ensure smooth daily operations
* Counting, monitoring, and maintaining accurate liquor stock levels
* Ordering bar stock and produce in line with business needs
* Supporting and leading the bar team during service
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and customer service
* Ensuring compliance with licensing and health & safety regulations
About You
* Previous bartending experience is essential
* Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
* A positive, hands‑on approach to leadership
* Reliable, punctual, and team-focused

This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate of £13.50 – £14.00 per hour, depending on experience.
