About the Role
This is a varied accounts-focused role where you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality accounts and tax services to a portfolio of clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing statutory and annual accounts for a wide range of clients, including SMEs and limited companies
2. Preparing draft corporation tax computations and CT600 returns
3. Producing complete year end accounting files with supporting schedules
4. Delivering ad-hoc advisory services to clients
5. Maintaining and developing strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues
6. Managing client expectations and delivering work within agreed timeframes
7. Delegating tasks and reviewing the work of junior team members
8. Mentoring trainees and supporting their professional development
9. Supporting Partners and Managers with their client portfolios
10. Ensuring compliance with professional standards and internal procedures
11. Contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and working practices
