Key Responsibilities:. Set and operate manual machines including Capstan Lathes, Pillar Drills, Chamfer Mate, and Tapping Arms.. Produce work to schedule using manual machinery to tight tolerances.. Inspect finished components using gauges and measuring equipment.. Liaise closely with the CNC Machining Department to support production.. Load and operate shot blasters, ultrasonic cleaners, and tempering furnaces when required.. Assist with other shop floor duties as needed. Required Skills & Experience:. Time-served manual machinist with strong turning and milling background.. Proven experience as a Capstan Setter, including setting Coventry die heads and roller boxes..
