To help us continue this journey, we are looking for a Property Fund Manager to join our growing team for a fixed term covering maternity leave. As well as bringing boundless energy to the role, youll have the ambition to want to learn how our business works and understand our passion and our purpose.
Youll be working in the property fund business of Resonance which has been building a UK wide housing portfolio since 2013 through our impact property investment funds, to house and support vulnerable tenants across the country including households at risk of homelessness, vulnerable women and adults with a learning disability. Resonance has a strategy of taking this model from c 1,500 homes to c 4,000 by 2030 through raising institutional capital with a target of reaching c £1bn under management, to achieve this goal.
Whilst we operate a highly flexible, hybrid working style, with a 9-day working fortnight, we also highly value the time spent together with colleagues and encourage at least 2 days per week in the office.

HERES WHAT YOULL DO FOR US RESPONSIBILITIES
You will provide maternity cover for our Property Fund Manager and the main focus of your role will be managing our 2 pioneering funds within the supported housing space. Both of these funds are fully deployed with £45m assets under management. In addition you will also have the opportunity to support the wider team across strategic projects including (i) exploring how we may be able to significantly scale the models we have piloted within the supported housing space to date through our two Pioneer Funds and (ii) supporting our business development in securing new Housing Partners for our series of funds that support households that are at risk of homelessness.
Managing our Pioneer Funds
We have 2 Pioneer Funds in the supported housing space
WISH (Women in Safe Homes) Fund a social impact investment fund focussed on providing safe, affordable homes for women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The fund has raised c £30m from impact investors and has invested this capital into acquiring c 120 homes across the UK which have been refurbished and leased to our 9 Housing Partners to allow these leading women sector organisations to house and support vulnerable women.
RSHF (Resonance Supported Homes Fund) a social impact fund focussed on providing safe, affordable homes for adults with a learning disability. The fund has raised c £15m from impact investors and has invested this capital into acquiring c 40 homes across the UK which have been refurbished and leased to our 2 Housing Partners to allow these supported housing organisations to house and support this vulnerable tenant group.
Key areas which the role will cover, include:
* Investor relations you will be the key contact for our impact investors in the fund and will co-ordinate and oversee a number of workstreams relating to this, including quarterly investor reports, bi-annual investor meetings, bi-annual portfolio valuations as well as ad hoc investor queries and requests relating to the fund
* Housing Partner management you will be the key contact for our family of eleven Housing Partners and will actively manage the relationships the funds have with this group of housing and support organisations which may include liaising with the local authorities that our Housing Partners support.
* Internal fund management you will be working with internal colleagues to ensure the fund is managed in a best in class way including cashflow projections with our finance team, social impact reporting with our communications team and property management with our property portfolio team
* External fund management you will be central to the relationship we have with our JV partner Patron Capital who we co-manage the WISH fund with, and you will be involved in co-ordinating our JV meetings and the related workstreams for this relationship
* Resonance profile you will also participate in meetings, conferences and events led or attended by key stakeholders or potential partners in the sector in order to raise the profile of Resonance to support our growth strategy
Strategic Projects
* Scaling our supported housing offer you will have the opportunity to lead a feasibility exercise and help shape our strategic thinking around how we may want to take forward our current and / or new Pioneer Funds in this space. This will involve shaping an offer that works for all stakeholders involved in such an initiative (ie household, Housing Partner, investor, commissioner etc)
* New Housing Partners our homelessness theme is scaling substantially and best in class Housing Partners who are aligned with our mission and growth strategy are fundamental to our success and you will have the opportunity to engage with such organisations in order to onboard them as a leasing partner to our funds focused on housing households stuck in temporary accommodation across the UK, providing them with the foundations to allow them to move on into independent living.

* Experience - within the property funds sector, or housing and support sector, or both
* A team player - working with people in and outside of the organisation to get the job done

* Strong on process with oversight of regulated fund activity, you will help us maintain and further develop strong processes which support our teams to deliver
* Numerate - able to produce or commission insightful quantitative analysis, and tell the story of the numbers
* Able to work independently - and demonstrate initiative and tenacity in seeing tasks through to conclusion
