We are looking for a L6 Nursery Childcare Early Years Teacher to join our vibrant and friendly Day Nursery.

We operate in a purpose-built property that provides spacious rooms for children and excellent outdoor facilities to support learning and development.
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
1. Hold a relevant Early Years QTS, NYT, or EYT qualification
2. Have at least 1 year's teaching experience
3. Have experience working in a nursery setting
4. Be energetic, fun, and passionate about working with children
5. Have a good understanding of the EYFS and Safeguarding policies
6. Be eager to up-skill and develop professionally
7. Believe in building strong partnerships with parents to support cohesive learning
8. Be enthusiastic, creative, and a positive role model
9. Be committed to self-development and keeping skills updated
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and adherence to nursery policies
2. Promote and implement EYFS/SEND standards
3. Ensure health, safety, security, and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors
4. Participate in the key person system, monitoring and recording children's development
5. Support children’s emotional and social needs with positive behaviour management techniques
6. Facilitate smooth settling-in and transition processes for children
7. Encourage independence through promoting good hygiene and self-care
8. Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and promote equality and diversity
9. Plan activities tailored to children’s abilities, interests, and backgrounds to support development
10. Attend meetings, training, and appraisals as required
11. Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, escalating concerns appropriately
12. Collaborate with professionals such as family support workers, speech therapists, and SENCOs
