Your newpany My client is a thriving R&D facility based in the Bristol area – they are offering hybrid working (2 days a week in the office) to an experienced Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), ideally from the research, engineering or manufacturing sectors on an FTC basis for 12 months initially. (may extend!)
Your new role Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning, scheduling, and delivering internal audits across all relevant departments and processes in line with the audit programme.
2. Assessingpliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, as well as applicable legislation and internal requirements.
3. Identifying non-conformities and opportunities for improvement, supporting root cause analysis and trend/pattern analysis of audit findings.
4. Preparing clear, concise audit reports and presenting findings to Heads of Departments and relevant forums ( Quality Council).
5. Supporting readiness for, and participation in, external certification and surveillance audits.
6. Stakeholder management:
7. Building strong relationships with department managers to ensure audits are collaborative, value-added, and promoting awareness of ISO requirements.
8. Collaborating closely with the Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental teams to ensure that the integrated management system (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001) requirements are consistently met, and that best practices are implemented.
9. Developing a good understanding of BSI auditors’ expectations to ensure audit readiness and alignment with external audit standards.
10. Promoting a positive quality, health & safety, and environmental (QHSE) culture across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
11. Extensive Lead Internal Auditor experience in research, manufacturing or industrial sectors
12. Certified Lead Internal Auditor qualification (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001)
13. Excellent report writing,munication and stakeholder engagement
14. Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (OHSMS), plus standards and legalpliance associated with each.
15. Experience conducting on-site audits.
16. Ideally, formal training in Integrated Management Systems
17. Operate independently with strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, demonstrating excellent organisational, analytical, andmunication skills.
What you'll get in return
Salary £35-45000FTC for 12 months, which could extend for a longer period.
