An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lettings Manager to join a busy estate and lettings agency office in Islington, North London. This role is suited to a property professional with strong lettings experience who is confident overseeing the day-to-day running of a lettings department. You will take responsibility for winning instructions, supporting landlords and tenants, managing the lettings process and supervising a small team. Working within a professional environment, you will help ensure the department operates efficiently, maintains excellent service standards and achieves consistent results. This is a hands-on management role within a busy North London office. A driving licence or car is not required. What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities): Carrying out lettings valuations and winning landlord instructions Listing rental properties and overseeing marketing activity Managing lettings transactions from enquiry through to move-in Overseeing tenancy progression and ensuring documentation is completed Supporting and supervising a lettings team Building and maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and industry regulations Liaising with referencing companies, contractors and property managers Monitoring department performance and maintaining agreed targets Maintaining accurate records and reporting What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience): Previous experience within residential lettings Experience at Lettings Manager, Assistant Manager or Senior Negotiator level Proven ability to win landlord instructions and generate new business Good understanding of lettings compliance and tenancy processes Experience supervising or supporting a small team Professional, organised and commercially aware Strong communication and negotiation skills High level of customer service No driving licence or car required What's In It For You?
