About the opportunity
* Play a lead role in optimising and supporting the University’s payroll system (aPay), ensuring compliance, data integrity and an improved user experience.
* Apply technical expertise to configure, upgrade and enhance the system, mapping business requirements to functionality and identifying automation opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, while fostering a culture of service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
About you
* Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
* Proven experience in configuring and administration of aPay (Ascender Pay).
* Relevant experience in a Business Analyst role requiring business process re‑engineering and improvement in large and complex organisations
* Demonstrated experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation and testing including creation of test plans.
* Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships whilst remaining fully customer focused
