Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Registered Nurse to play a key role in shaping high-quality community nursing services and making a real difference to patient care.

Based within the Camborne Community Nursing Team, the post holder will take an active role in monitoring and improving the quality of care, identifying opportunities for innovation, and leading on service development to meet the evolving needs of the local population. You will be required to hold the District Nurse Specialist Practitioner Qualification (DNSPQ), and will have opportunities to develop professionally within a forward-thinking service.

Working in collaboration with the existing Team Lead, and as part of a supportive, integrated multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership across the community nursing caseload through proactive and effective caseload management. You will have the autonomy to work independently while also being a visible, approachable leader—supporting, guiding, and developing members of the nursing team to consistently deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

The role offers the chance to build strong partnerships with health, social care, and voluntary sector colleagues, ensuring coordinated, person-centered care and positive patient experiences. This position is ideal for a nurse who is enthusiastic about community practice, values teamwork, and is keen to influence service delivery while developing their leadership skills.
