WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As Mechatronics Engineer you will be responsibleto develop,implementandimproveprocesses in operations that reducelabourcostand automate processes to improve Safety, Quality and Delivery. Use the best manufacturing methods and technology to ensure any product producedarecreated in an efficient and cost-effective manner while complying with health and safety procedures and quality standards. To provide day to day second level technical support for existing equipment. The Mechatronics Engineer will have a direct impact on our Manufacturing group, responsible for: Specify and design automated assembly and test equipment Integration of electro / mechanical automation equipment into existing production lines Mechanical design and build of custom jigs and fixtures Setup, programming and validation of production automation equipment Design for Assembly automation recommendations Continuous improvement of production assembly equipment Developing design documents for mechanical parts and final products Selecting the required tools and materials for the manufacturing process Attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to network with others and stay on top of field advancements WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR CPI is committed to hiring a diverse workforce and empowers our associates to promote new ideas and apply innovation to our world of payment technology solutions. Qualifications and Requirements BEng in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent qualification in mechanical or electronic engineering 2 years in production line automation development within a manufacturing environment Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills Kaizen / CI experience Programming and debugging of robotic controls PLC and automationcontrolsan advantage Ability to work in a team or alone with good communication skills Excellent IT skills with MS Office tools and PC sub-systems SolidworksMechanical CAD experience Mechanical fitting and assembly experience Self-starter with a passion for Engineering Understanding of quality processes, error proofing and continuous improvement techniques Pneumatics control automation Personal Attributes Development of Personnel: You aregoodsharing expertise with anyone interested and helping others plan their careers.
