We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Driver to join our team in Warrington. This is a hands-on role combining daily driving responsibilities with team leadership. You will be on the road each day completing deliveries while also overseeing transport operations and supporting a team of drivers to maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Be on the road daily completing deliveries and collections
* Lead, support, and supervise a team of drivers
* Act as the key liaison between drivers and management, ensuring clear communication both ways
* Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
* Maintain compliance with transport regulations and company policies
* Support training and on-boarding of new drivers
Requirements
* Valid UK driving licence with no endorsements for drink drug or careless driving.
* Previous experience in a driving role (multi-drop experience preferred)
* Experience supervising or leading a team of drivers
* Strong communication and organisational skills
