Overview
Are you passionate about working with young children and building meaningful relationships? We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic unqualified early childhood teacher to join our nursery team for between 30-35 hours per week. We are a small, privately owned preschool with a maximum of 40 children across the centre. Our size allows us to create strong, genuine relationships with our tamariki, whānau, and each other. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit, supportive team. Our nursery offers a nurturing environment with a 2:5 teacher‑to‑baby ratio each day, ensuring attentive, responsive care for our pēpi. We are led by an ECE‑qualified owner who is a strong advocate for early childhood teachers in New Zealand, fostering a culture that values and supports its kaiako.
About the role
You will work alongside experienced teachers to support the care and development of our babies. This includes engaging in play, building trusting relationships, and contributing to a calm, loving environment.
