Overview
Professional Education Manager Oncology, EMEA. This role focuses on Health Care Professional (HCP) education and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) identification, management and development within the PI EMEA team. The role reports to the Senior Market Development Manager and oversees end-to-end execution of educational programs across the Oncology portfolio with practicing Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) relevant to key focus areas. The individual will work closely with regional marketing and Medical Affairs to understand and audit learning needs, develop suitable Professional Education programs, and measure program performance through post-course surveys, SFDC and customer feedback.
This position offers the opportunity to drive a new direction for professional education within PI EMEA and contribute to BD’s broader goals in health innovation and education.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to design, develop and implement world-class professional education programs, including congress symposia, workshops, Summits, online and face-to-face training.
* Align with cross-functional EMEA partners to meet strategic external education and training needs and manage learning pathways to ensure the right education for learners.
* Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and support initiatives with key societies to establish professional education partnerships.
* Support the sales organization in identifying KOLs and Centers of Excellence, ensuring appropriate education and training for identified bodies.
* Execute assigned project workstreams and deliverables, maintaining high standards in health professional training initiatives.
* Develop targeted tools and presentations for HCP educational presentations, including AdProm submission and approval.
* Gather and incorporate feedback from Sales on training needs, key accounts, and field activities.
* Assure a blended learning and omni-channel approach aligned to the regional marketing strategy.
* Ensure medical education activities comply with BD’s regional and local compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
* Coordinate logistics for courses, including registrations, course information, post-course evaluation data analysis and reporting.
* Plan, track and optimize the Professional Education budget.
* Identify physicians attending professional education activities according to target personas for specific events.
* Explore innovative and flexible learning solutions that meet customer needs.
* Maintain up-to-date technical, clinical and guideline knowledge of BD Oncology solutions and general knowledge of PI solutions.
* May be asked to participate in other reasonable requests.
Tools, Processes & Communication
* Create, improve and monitor tools used by the commercial teams.
* Utilize BD resources to support initiatives such as SFDC and BD Learning Academy.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience in sales, clinical or another medical industry discipline.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Science or related discipline.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers.
