We are looking for a compassionate, inspiring leader who is deeply committed to the success of our small, rural school to start in September 2026 or earlier for the right candidate. Working closely with our Executive Headteacher and dedicated team, you will help us continue to grow as an ambitious, friendly, and deeply supportive school.
Be the leading professional in our school, nurturing and strengthening our Christian ethos while guiding the school's strategic direction, and holding high aspirations for every child and every member of staff.
Champion excellent teaching and learning, ensuring that high-quality, expert practice thrives across our small school and that every child's learning journey is understood, valued, and supported.
Lead the day to day life of the school with care and clarity, fostering strong relationships and ensuring that staff, families, governors, and the wider community feel listened to and involved.
Work collaboratively with others, both within our school and across the local community, to continually build on our strengths and ensure that our school continues to improve and flourish.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils and staff, modelling exemplary safeguarding practice and creating a culture where everyone feels secure, respected, and able to thrive.
Demonstrate the highest levels of professional integrity, setting a positive tone for the whole school community.
Use data thoughtfully and effectively to understand our children, celebrate their progress, and drive meaningful school improvement, including leading assessment across the school.
Bring enthusiasm, warmth, resilience, and adaptability, embracing the vibrant, varied nature of life in a small school.
Celebrate and promote diversity, ensuring that every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to be proud of who they are
We can offer you:
A knowledgeable, encouraging Executive Headteacher who will champion you, guide you, and celebrate your successes as you grow into the role.
Wonderful children who are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn, supported by parents and carers who value strong relationships and are committed to working with the school.
A dedicated team of staff and governors who care deeply about whole school improvement while never losing sight of the individual needs and strengths of every child.
A warm, welcoming, and close-knit school community where people look out for one another, work hard together, and take genuine pride in creating a happy place to learn and work.
Strong support for your own professional development, ensuring you feel nurtured, stretched, and empowered as a leader.
A collaborative network of local schools who share ideas, resources, and expertise to enrich the experience of all children in our wider community.
