We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and motivated midwife to join our experienced community midwifery team in Lincoln. The role is a seconded/fixed‑term post delivering gold‑standard midwifery care through continuous support from pregnancy to childbirth and beyond.

Job Overview
The post is a fixed‑term or seconded position for a Community Midwife (Band 6). The role involves providing comprehensive midwifery care across the pregnancy continuum, managing own caseload, and supporting women and families.
Main Duties
* Deliver safe, patient‑centred midwifery care in the community.
* Use initiative to solve problems, manage time effectively and work collaboratively.
* Act as an advocate and champion for women and families.
Qualifications
* Registered Midwife with NMC.
* Diploma in Midwifery or equivalent.
* Access to own vehicle with appropriate business insurance.
* Any recognised NIPE or management qualification preferred.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
* Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Experience Required
* At least 6 months post Band 6 experience.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of all spheres of midwifery practice.
* Experience with safeguarding procedures.
* Experience in home births/IIA.
* Ability to interpret and apply research‑based findings.
* Participation in clinical audit.
