Under new management leadership, this UK law firm is really making its mark with increased growth and bigger ticket work. With a new BD Director creating a more client‑centric and sales focused approach, this is a really exciting time to be part of effecting this change.
In this Head of Bids role, you will be responsible for developing a bid strategy that helps the firm to win bigger and better mandates. This will include:
 * Playing a strategic and advisory role to partners around bid qualification, win themes and strategy on strategic and high value opportunities; Coaching pitch presentation teams and ensuring that key messages are conveyed in bid documents; Developing bid process and infrastructure; Promoting best practice around bidding and pitching; Working with L&D teams on bid training; Developing templates; bid libraries and standard content; Conducting win and loss reviews to improve bid performance; Management and developing of a national bid team.
You will have a significant track record of bid leadership within a major professional services environment (ideally within the legal sector). Compelling and creative writing skills are a given as well as the ability to be creative around bids, proposals and pitches. You will enjoy influencing and persuading senior stakeholders to drive behavioural change with charm and emotional intelligence.
