Position: Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems, model-based design, and extensive experience with power electronics, specifically DC-DC converters, inverters, and rectifiers. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing control algorithms and models to enhance the performance and efficiency of power electronic systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Control System Design: Develop and implement control algorithms for power electronic systems including DC-DC converters, inverters, and rectifiers.
2. Model-Based Design: Use model-based design techniques to simulate, analyze, and optimize power electronic systems.
3. System Modeling: Create and validate detailed models of power electronic components and systems using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or similar.
4. Performance Optimization: Conduct analysis and optimization to ensure high efficiency, stability, and reliability.
5. Embedded Systems and Microcontrollers: Design and implement control algorithms on embedded systems, ensuring seamless integration and real-time performance.
6. Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and real-time simulation.
7. Documentation: Prepare technical documentation such as specifications, test reports, and manuals.
8. Collaboration: Work with hardware engineers, software developers, and system integrators for seamless integration.
9. Innovation: Stay updated with latest advancements to drive product innovation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years experience in control system design and model-based development for power electronics.
* Proficiency in control algorithms, power electronics, MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, embedded systems, HIL testing, and industry standards.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork skills, and attention to detail.
