We are looking for an additional permanent full-time Renewable Heating instructor to deliver courses to plumbing, heating and allied trades including; Heat Pumps, Solar Thermal, Water Regulations, Unvented Hot Water, etc. and would prefer someone who has experience of delivering these or similar courses already. Although we would consider applications from an experienced installer who is looking at getting in to teaching.
We run short courses for relatively small groups of no more than 10-12 candidates and the vast majority of our trainees are mature experienced trades.
Your passion and clarity in explaining new ideas to learners, combined with your good technical knowledge and qualifications are the most important factors in this role.
Your input into the development of course materials, new training techniques and personal development etc. are all actively encouraged.
We are also interested in speaking to candidates that would prefer part time or self employed opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have formal qualifications in the subjects they teach. They may also be an experienced teacher/trainer and hold A1 or equivalent. V1 qualification is also desirable.
As a training provider we firmly believe in the development of our staff and a would welcome applications from candidates who have some teaching experience in this field and are willing to work towards relevant training qualifications.
You should also have a good understanding of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Although please note: If you aren't an experienced engineer preferably with at least some teaching experience then this job isn't for you.

This is a full-time permanent position however we would also welcome applications from anyone looking for part-time/contract teaching.
