Customer Account Manager - Avonmouth
Up to £33,000 | Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm
I am currently looking for a Customer Account Manager to join a friendly, well-established distribution team in Avonmouth.
This full-time, permanent position involves managing client accounts, processing orders via phone and email, and delivering outstanding customer service. Experience in a business-to-business environment or in customer service or sales roles is preferred. Full training and ongoing development are provided.
Main Duties
1. Customer Assistance: Promptly and courteously respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
2. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns using available tools and resources.
3. Order Management: Process orders, track shipments, handle cancellations/modifications, and ensure a smooth buying experience.
4. Product Knowledge: Build a strong understanding of our product range to confidently assist customers.
5. Up-Selling: Spot opportunities to promote complementary products that add value for customers.
6. Professional Communication: Maintain a friendly, empathetic, and respectful tone in all interactions.
Skills
* 1+ year of sales or customer service experience required
* Experience in sales (preferred)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* A proactive, customer-first attitude
* Ability to commute to Avonmouth
