Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction
* Leadprojectplanningandsupportcontractnegotiationsduringpre-contractstages.
* Overseefullprojecthandoverfromestimating,typicallyfourweeksbeforedelivery.
* Chairweeklyinternalprojectreviews(tabletops)andallocateclearprojectobjectives.
* Reviewallcontractandtenderdocumentation.
* Produceaccuratefinancialandcommercialforecasts.
* Leadprocurementandmobilisationplanning,ensuringalignmentwithtenderallowances.
* Developfullprojectplansincorporatingscope,assumptions,deliverablesandtimelines.
* Identifyopportunitiestoenhancedeliverythroughsupplychainstrategy,subcontracting,alternativesuppliersandsafer/moreefficientdeliverymethods.
* Compileproject-specificCDMandconstructiondocumentation.
* Submitinitialprojectprogrammes(typicallyNEC3/4Clause32).
* Overseesafeandcompliantsitemobilisation.
Construction Phase
* ManagedeliverytostrictSafety,Quality,TimeandCommercialstandards.
* Leadcommercialoptimisation,supplychainengagementandclientnegotiation.
* Ensureprojectscopeisdeliveredontimeandonbudget.
* Identifyandmanagecontractchangesearly,assessingimpactsonSQTC.
* SupportcommercialchangemanagementandcostestimationwiththeQSteam.
* Completemonthlyforecastingandfinancialreporting.
* Ensureaccurateinvoicingandpositivecashflow.
* Maintainstrongclientrelationshipsthroughweeklyprogressmeetings.
