What you will be doing...
1. Undertake a four-year apprenticeship consisting of on-the-job training, primarily on Day Shift Monday to Friday with a concluding period of Shift work to further develop core competencies
2. Complete and maintain all reports and records required for SEMTA (Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies Apprenticeship) awards scheme.
3. Liaise with the Electrical Engineer in the repair and maintenance of all equipment on dayshift to the highest standards.
What we need from you...
4. For all apprenticeships we are looking for self motivated learners with excellent interpersonal skills.
5. You will also need the following 4 National 5 or equivalent qualifications at Grade C or above, or predicted including Maths, English and a Science and Technology based subjects.
6. Basic standard of IT skills.
