Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are recruiting for a Receptionist/ Admin Assistant to join The Mary Erskine School on a temporary basis from 14 August 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks) for one academic session until June 2026. This is a part-time, term-time-only role, working 23.25 hours per week. The pro-rata salary range is £13,287 - £13,695 per annum (based on qualifications and experience). The role is based at The Mary Erskine School at Ravelston.
The main responsibilities include managing telephone enquiries, greeting visitors, and providing office support at The Mary Erskine’s School (MES).
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. They should be adaptable, able to prioritize tasks, and handle confidential information discreetly. Experience in a school setting and supporting events is desirable, along with a positive, proactive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
